Who İs The Alparslan Kuytul Hocaefendi?
Alparslan Kuytul Hocaefendi was born on August 20, 1965 in Adana. He completed his primary education at Adana İnkılap Primary School, his secondary education at Tepebağ Secondary School and his high school education at Adana Boys' High School. He graduated from Çukurova University, Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering in 1991. Alparslan Kuytul Hocaefendi, who fulfilled his military service after his graduation, studied at the Islamic Law Department of the Sharia Faculty of Egypt's al-Azhar University between 1993-1997 after completing his military service. During his years at Al-Azhar University, he established the Furkan Education and Service Foundation. After graduating from Al-Azhar University, he returned to Turkey.
When he was younger, Alparslan Kuytul Hocaefendi would try to explain Islam and take his friends with whom he played games to the mosque and reflect on what he knew. When his family said to "think about your future" about his school lessons, he said, "I'm doing these because I'm already thinking about my future, the real future is the hereafter," and after his university education, he devoted himself entirely to the cause of Islam.
Between 1980-1982, when he was a high school student, he would take his schoolmates to the mosque opposite the school and give them religious talks after school and on weekends. In 1986, when he was a student at the university, he established the first student house and lectured to university students and tradesmen there. While continuing his education at Al-Azhar University, he founded the Furkan Education and Service Foundation in November 1994. In order to take his education and service activities one step further, he founded Kardesler Bookstore in 1988. He continued his teaching activities and weekly lessons in the garden of the bookstore for years. After the foundation was established, Furkan Volunteers continued their education and service activities in the foundation building.
