12 Mar 2024

Again, questions related to the agenda; “Is it permissible to perform Friday prayer in places where there are no mosques, such as neighborhood markets or parking lots?” Answering the question, Hodjaefendi said,
“To perform the Friday prayer; "It must be a masjid or a place similar to a masjid." He replied: “It must be built as a masjid and it must be designated as a masjid. Five daily prayers must be performed and the adhan must be recited. Alparslan Kuytul Hocaefendi said, "Friday prayer has conditions, it is not like other prayers."
“Why do you continue to keep mosques closed? There are no more than 3-5 people going to morning prayer. "For what reason it is closed during morning, evening and night prayers? For what reason is it only open during noon and afternoon prayers?" he expressed his reaction on this issue. Alparslan Kuytul Hocaefendi's full answer to this question is as follows;

DON'T DISGRACE THE FRIDAY PRAYER!

Is it permissible to perform Friday prayer in places where there are no mosques, such as neighborhood markets or parking lots?

Religious; Without a justified reason, necessity or even need, he demanded that Friday prayers be performed in neighborhood markets or some similar non-mosque places, rather than in mosques. I don't know whether the Diyanet either issued a fatwa for this or the governorships did this. Whoever did this is unacceptable.

Friday prayers cannot be performed in neighborhood markets.

Where is Friday Prayer Performed?

To perform Friday prayer; It must be a masjid or a place similar to a masjid. It must be built as a masjid and be designated as a masjid. Five daily prayers must be performed and the adhan must be recited. Friday prayer has conditions, it is not like other prayers.

According to fiqh, there should be no space either in the mosque, in the courtyard of the mosque, or in the continuation of the courtyard. Tree etc. something like or water etc. If there is an obstacle like this, that gap is tolerated, but you cannot leave too much space for no reason. There cannot be too much space between the row in front and the row after that without any reason. If there is an obstacle; it is a reason and it is tolerated. In other words, the door of the mosque must be open either inside the mosque or in its courtyard. In order for it to be performed in the courtyard of the mosque, it must be a continuation of the interior of the mosque. In order for the prayer to be held outside the courtyard and the wall, the congregation must have to go out because of that wall. Based on need. Unless this is the case, it cannot be performed outside. There is a distance between them. Why do you stay away? Then he won't be included in the community. Either that or in the past, the state would designate a place outside the city saying 'this is the Friday place' and Friday prayers would be performed there collectively. The whole city could gather there. A large area, a large field, can be leveled a little (to make it level, flattened), or if necessary, it can be concreted, tiled, or a small masjid can be built, or it is like a masjid because it has been designated. It has been named. It can also be performed in such a place.

The neighborhood market is neither a mosque nor a place designated for Friday prayers outside the city. A street market is a street market. Don't disgrace the Friday prayer!

They neither listen to books nor fiqh when it suits them.

An Explanation is Needed! From where?

Why is it performed in a few mosques and courtyards of the city but not in other mosques?

Why is it performed in 20-30 mosques or 50 mosques but not in all? An explanation is needed. Whatever precautions you take at the neighborhood market, you can take there too.

Why do you continue to keep mosques closed? Sitting next to each other is now allowed, even in minibuses. Even tourists are allowed. Tourists continue to come from abroad.

Why are mosques open during noon and afternoon prayers, but not during the five daily prayers?

That anti-religion committee is prolonging this process as long as it can and trying to keep the mosque closed. The actions of some of the administrators are in the hands of that anti-religious committee in the form of files... They put those files in front of them, are you doing what we say or not? They do what they say under blackmail.

Where did this come from? It makes no sense to say, "Friday prayers can be performed in this mosque, but not in that mosque." What kind of logic does this have?

Why are you blocking so many mosques? If you reduce the number of mosques, the number of people praying in that mosque increases. If what you call risk is real; At that time, that risk will increase even more.

If Corona is not a lie, you are increasing that risk even more. In this case, you need to open all mosques so that the risk of contamination decreases and people can pay attention to social distance.

Why do you continue to keep mosques closed? In fact, there are no more than 3-5 people going to morning prayer. For what reason is it closed during morning, evening and night prayers? For what reason is it only open during noon and afternoon prayers?

A theater is being performed in the country. There is no problem if 3 people pray separately, but there is a problem when one of them passes and the Imam is in front of him. Didn't they make Ramadan pass like this by saying it was forbidden? Wasn't it like this for 2 and a half months? When 3 people pray separately, the virus does not come, but when one of them steps forward and becomes the imam, the viruses come immediately. These viruses are enemies of the community.
