Our Opinion on HDP
What does the Furkan Movement and Imam Alparslan Kuytul think about HDP?
The Kurdish issue is one of the issues that has occupied our country for years. At a time of bloody events such as the October 6-7 events, the peace process, attacks, martyrs, some forces did not like the statements made by Imam Alparslan Kuytul about the HDP, and the long speeches and videos were edited and published to the public. Thus, Imam Alparslan Kuytul was made to look like an HDP supporter. So what are Imam Alparslan Kuytul's views on HDP?
"Those who know us know that we do not have a party. We preach Islam and we have no party affiliation. We do not support any party. We are the most slandered congregation in Turkey right now. The deep irreligious committee is trying to slander us from everywhere. They are trying to show us as if we are from whatever neighborhood or group that is disliked. We are the Furkan movement. We are neither PKK, nor HDP, nor ISIS. HDP's ideology is clear: Socialism. I am a Muslim, I cannot accept socialism. So how can I support it? But if there is an injustice, it is my duty to speak out. This is not being one of them. When I say something they say I am one of them, they never say "he said it for justice"! I say to those who are from them: you are defending Kurdish rights, but you are not defending the rights of Allah. Let's defend Allah's right together. Allah's right is that what He says happens. If Allah's will is done, Allah will fulfill the rights of Turks, Kurds and Arabs."
HDP is not a party that is based on protecting human rights, human life and property. Thousands of people were killed in Syria and they did not say a word. Those who died there were also human beings, but they didn't say a word. When the issue is about Kurds, they set the place on fire. When the dead there are Arabs/Turkmen, are they not considered human? Entering parliament as the Peoples' Democratic Party and only speaking out when it comes to the Kurdish people reveals how racist and non-embracing their values are. The HDP also bears the blame for the killing of 26 citizens as a result of Selahattin Demirtaş's call for people to take to the streets. A person can defend and seek their rights, but they cannot kill to get their rights. Rights cannot be sought by killing innocent people. On the other hand, the government also has some mistakes at this point. The HDP or the PKK is being blamed for the end of the solution process and the resumption of the war. So why didn't the state intervene in this situation before? The fact that the HDP received 13% of the votes and the government wanted to take advantage of this shows that this was done to prepare for the elections. At that time, the President said 'get off the mountain and do politics'. When they did this, he received 13% of the votes. If HDP got this vote by its own will, there is no problem. But if it forced the people to vote for it, then the state should have intervened.
Imam Alparslan Kuytul analyzed the HDP issue within the framework of the Qur'an and Sunnah, and when some certain groups did not like it, they slandered him as a HDP supporter and someone who tries to earn votes for them. However, to be a Furkan is to say that right is right and falsehood is falsehood. Calling out an injustice for what it is, does not make anyone a member of that side. The Furkan Movement is not affiliated with any political party, but its only concern is the cause of Allah's sovereignty on earth as it is in the sky. We are the Furkan Movement. We are not in favor of any party or ideology.
