The conference blockades imposed on the Furkan Movement as of 2014 increased in severity in the following years. Blessed Birth Programs Have Been Hit

The Furkan Movement aims to remember the Messenger of Allah and to ensure that he and his cause are understood. He wanted to carry out the blessed birth program with the theme "The Prophet" as every year. However, the owner of the wedding hall, which was arranged and allocated beforehand, was threatened by some people and wanted to prevent the hall from being given to the Furkan Foundation. After the Wedding Hall was canceled by the decision of the Adana Governorship, new applications were made to perform the program at the Mimar Sinan Open Air Theatre. Despite the permission of Adana Metropolitan Municipality, the program, which was expected to have a participation of approximately 10,000 people, was not allowed to be held at the Mimar Sinan Open Air Theatre. 10 thousand people who participated in the press release, including Alparslan Kuytul Hocaefendi and Semra Kuytul Hocahanım, were brutally intervened on the grounds that they were unauthorized. The Iskenderun Incident and the April 22 Incident had gone through a difficult struggle that would go down in history and resonate. On Tuesday, January 30, at around 05:30 in the morning, with the order of the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Adana Police TEM Branch conducted a raid on the Furkan Foundation building with a dawn operation. Even though there was no sign of resistance, the doors of the headquarters of the foundation were entered by trying to break the doors of the foundation with rams.

Furkan Volunteers, who wanted to keep the spirit of Ramadan alive by paying attention to the social distance rules, taking the necessary precautions and opening the mosques for worship, were exposed to various pressures and injustices.

Muslims who hanged a tarpaulin special for the month of Ramadan, were detained and fined. For this reason, Furkan Gönülleri was subjected to detentions and threats in many provinces, and their rights were violated.

The Chain of Worship with the Pandemic: Struggle for Itikaf

It experienced a first in the persecution process that continues to increase in Turkey and simultaneous raids were carried out on mosques during Ramadan. Furkan Volunteers, knowing the encouragement of the Presidency of Religious Affairs due to the circumcision of the Messenger of Allah in the last 10 days of Ramadan, applied to the necessary authorities to perform Itikaf prayers and went to the mosque to enter Itikaf in the mosques determined by the Diyanet. All over Turkey, mosques were visited at the designated points to enter Itikaf. Although there was no problem on the first day of Itikaf in Adana, Furkan Volunteers in 2 different mosques faced the disproportionate intervention of the Police before they realized what was happening on the first day of Itikaf worship in Gaziantep. Security forces, who entered the place of worship of Muslims with their boots, forced the citizens who were praying inside the mosque out of the mosque by spraying pepper gas and battering them. Then, batons, beatings, pepper spray and insults continued one after another. Furkan Volunteers, who wanted to perform Itikaf prayers in the mosque, did not show any resistance against this treatment. Despite this, a total of 56 people were taken into custody in a scandalous manner. As a result of the reactions, the Gaziantep Provincial Police Chief asked for his retirement, but was actually dismissed.

A group of 60 detained people were kept in a small detention vehicle for 15 hours in a hot city like Adana. Another group was kept in the sun in the garden of the Police, although they were fasting. After the detention period due to Itikaf worship, the Prosecutor demanded an arrest for Furkan Volunteers on the grounds of "resistance to not do their duty" and referred them to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace. However, despite the police entering mosques with dozens of cameras in their hands, it was not specified who resisted which officer to not do their duty, and not even a single piece of evidence, witness or footage was presented to show that they were resisting. Despite this, they were demanded to be arrested with unfounded slander and were referred to the court.
