What is Tawhid
WHAT DOES TEVHID MEAN? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF TEVHID?
Kalima-i tawhid, which is one of the most important pioneers of Islam, is the greatest fear of polytheism and falsehood. Therefore, the meaning of tawhid has been tried to be forgotten by Muslims, and Muslims have been tried to be taught a wrong or incomplete understanding of tawhid.
However, tawhid is such a word that when it is accepted, it becomes a paradise, and when it is rejected, it becomes a hell. This word distinguishes between truth and falsehood, between tawhid and shirk. Nations that accept this word and do what is necessary are exalted by being victorious over other nations. Those who abandon this word lose, become disgraced. This word starts and ends wars. This word means Moses and Pharaoh, Abraham and Nemrud, Hz. It is the most important reason that opened the gap between Muhammad and Abu Jahl and caused their great struggles. So, what does "Tawhid" mean, which awakens the sleepers, activates those who stand still, and eradicates ideologies and polytheism?
Tawhid, on the one hand, covers the existence and oneness of Allah, on the one hand, and on the other hand, it declares that there is no creator other than Allah, and that there is no deity (lawmaker) other than Allah. In other words, it means to gather the authority to create and rule in an authority.
The word Tawhid, which means "to be one and one", is derived from the root "vahd" (vahdet, wuhud). The word tawhid briefly means that there is no god but Allah. Kalima-i Tawhid literally means that there is no authority or authority other than Allah to be obeyed, obeyed, worshiped. The word "Ilah" in Arabic means "Mabud". The word “Mabud” means “the one who is worshiped”, that is, whose orders, laws and rules are followed. Let's delve deeper into this important word.
La ilaha illallah
La is used in Arabic to mean no, I do not accept, I reject. God, on the other hand, means the one who sets laws and rules, who is worshiped, prayed for, and who is worthy of worship. In that case, a person who says "La ilaha illallah" is saying: No to all deities who try to rule people other than Allah, who set laws and rules, who are worshiped, prayed for, deemed worthy of worship, and who have authority and authority. I reject all persons, authorities and authorities who profess divinity. I accept only Allah as deity.
As it is seen, belief in Allah begins by rejecting false gods. This means 'to reject those who will make laws other than Allah, who will be obeyed and obeyed'. Because creation belongs to Allah, and it belongs only to Allah to judge.
''Be careful! Creating and ruling belong only to Allah.” (Araf, 54)
"Judgment belongs only to Allah." (Enam, 57)
"Is not Allah the best of those who rule?" (Tin,8)
Tawhid is the common discourse of all prophets. Hz. It is the common invitation of all prophets from Adam to the Prophet. It is the oldest case in the world. It is not a man-made case that emerged later. So much so that history is the scene of the struggle between tawhid and polytheism.
Now let's look at the reasons for rejecting the word tawhid and what it means. It is a fact that throughout history, there have been rich, elite or authoritative people who have rejected the creed of tawhid, who have gained enormous benefits from the existing false orders. Of course, it is unthinkable for those who have a lot of interests to lose when they accept the word tawhid, those who cannot afford to change their accustomed life, those who enjoy serving the current authority or who are afraid of the current authority. On the other hand, those who reject Kalima-i tawhid accept others as the law and rule maker instead of Allah, the authority and authority who are worshiped, prayed for and deemed worthy of worship. Those who do not accept Allah's decrees say that they are more knowledgeable than Allah, that they have more authority than Allah, that there are erroneous provisions in the Qur'an, that Allah's decrees cover a certain time.
However, there is no one who can make a more perfect judgment than Allah. Because;
* It is Allah Who created man and knows best.
* It is Allah, Who created the universe and all blessings, and owns property. Therefore, the authority to rule should belong to Allah.
* Just as Allah is the one who governs the universe perfectly, it is also Allah who will govern humanity perfectly.
* Allah knows best the past and the future. His laws are infallible.
* Allah does not need any benefit. He does not discriminate among his servants.
* We came from Allah, we will be returned to Him and we will give account of our lives only to Allah. He is the owner of the hereafter.
We can summarize the word tawhid by saying, "What Allah says must be in Allah's world." This sentence is the one that explains Tawhid the most and best describes it. Alparslan Kuytul Hocaefendi: The universe belongs to Allah. Since the owner of the universe is Allah, he states that it is his right to do what he says, and states that the judgment should be given to the owner of the universe. In addition, giving the right to the right owner is also a requirement of justice.
Tawhid is the only way to put an end to servitude, to eradicate polytheism and oppression, and to give humanity the honor it deserves. humanity; Only this creed saves and liberates from the bondage of ideologies, souls and tyrannical dictators. Thanks to this creed, civilization, justice, peace and freedom come to societies.
